PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
– “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
– “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
– “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
We use the Device Information that we collect to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns). We also use this information to help us target better our ads to our clients.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us analyze traffic to our Site and to assess effectiveness of our marketing efforts, as described above.
This website uses Google Universal Analytics & the Google Analytics Advertising Features:
Google Universal Analytics helps us track and understand better the traffic to our site. The Google Analytics cookies aid in general website improvements, and for other marketing purposes. We also make use of the Google Analytics Advertising Features via Google Advertising cookies to help us advertise better to our clients using interests, demographics or remarketing. In fact this data is shared with other Google services such as Google Ads to help us better target our online ads using the Google Ads service.
You can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/.
You can also opt-out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
This website using Google Ads & Remarketing/Retargeting:
The Site uses Google Ads to advertise online using both search and display platforms. As explained some ads may be targeted to customers with particular interests & demographics.
This site also uses the Google Ads Remarketing advertising service. This allows us to re-advertise to previous visitors (that had already visited our website) whilst browsing the web. We can also tailor adverts to specific visitors who visited a particular page – for example an advert targeted only for those who visited the menu page. These adverts come in the form of display ads on other third party websites or even text search ads that show up in the Google search results page. This takes place through the use of the above mentioned cookies, which keep record of previous website visitors.
Google Ads cookies are also used to track conversions and to record statistics. Such statistics include how many clicked a particular ad, which pages were visited on the provider’s website after the ad was clicked and other actions on the site that convey marketing effectiveness. These actions are called ‘conversions’.
In case you would like to change your preferences for how Google advertises to you please visit Google Ad Preferences page, otherwise you can also either opt out of interest-based advertising entirely by cookie settings or permanently using a browser plugin.
This website uses Google Tag Manager:
The Google Ads Conversion Tag tracks conversion actions and can include for example a button click or a page view. In fact we used GTM to track Google Ads Conversions so we can monitor and improve our marketing efforts using Google Ads.
This website uses Facebook Conversion Pixel:
The Facebook pixel is implemented on the site in order to help us understand better the effectiveness of our marketing efforts and for statistical and market research purposes. Hence after someone clicks our ad on Facebook and is redirected to the provider’s website, this pixel will track the behaviour of the person. This data is anonymous, but since it is collected by Facebook, it can be linked to their own Facebook account, and used for the platform’s own advertising purposes, as explained here https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For more information about how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s (“NAI”) educational page at http://www.networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/how-does-it-work.
You can opt out of targeted advertising by:
