Eggs Benedict or Eggs Royale? Kickstart Your Morning with a Breakfast at Risette!

Well they say breakfast like a King…. You can be certain that at Risette we will serve up a breakfast fit for royalty with our new menu. The setting is sumptuous as ever with the elegant surroundings to welcome you from your slumber over a choice of morning tea from Chamomile to Rooibos Vanilla Masala and everything else in-between. If, however you are a coffee connoisseur you will be greeted by the aroma of the finest beans to awaken your senses. The ever-attentive team from the kitchen (led by Head Chef Andrew Borg) to the front-of-house are ready to deliver whatever your breakfast of choice is with its own inimitable style and panache. We’re ready to greet early risers at 7am to those desiring a more leisurely start as breakfast is served until 10.30am.

Buffet to get you started

The spectacular breakfast menu offers a relaxed semi-buffet style service with an extensive continental breakfast to tempt you. The most tempting melt-in-the-mouth croissants, delectable Danish pastries, speciality Maltese bread and sweet cakes are all set off with homemade jams and marmalade. Follow that with rich and creamy Greek yogurt served with a fruit compote; and last but not least the freshest of fresh orange juice too.

How do you like your eggs?

A range of hot breakfast options are offered through an a la carte menu that is cooked fresh to order, so do allow the kitchen approximately 15 minutes to prepare your cooked breakfast of choice and in the meantime,  you can enjoy the surrounding whilst leisurely drinking coffee. Eggs will be cooked perfectly to your liking, along with rashers of crispy bacon, artisan Cumberland sausages, sautéed mushrooms, grilled tomato and of course classic black pudding.

We think you will find choosing between Eggs Benedict or Eggs Royale has never been so difficult. Both come served with beautifully poached eggs and a finely toasted English muffin. So, will it be crispy bacon and hollandaise sauce or smoked salmon and cod roe? You may just have to keep coming back to Risette to ensure you have made the right choice. Add to all this a fine glass of bubbly from Prosecco Astoria to the best Champagne, as there are occasions when only Bollinger will do. All will of course mean that you will have the Risette signature start to your day.
